How long does it take to charge my EV/PHEV
The total hours can be calculateld using rated baterry capacity (kWh) divided by charging rate (kW). For instance, depow portable charger produces about 3.5kW at 15A. BYD Seal standard battery size ~61.4kWh. The total hours = 61.4 kWh/3.5kW = 17.5hr

This math is too easy. Now, let say how long does it take to charger from 40% to 90% at 3.5 kW charging rate?
(0.9-0.4) X battery size (61.4kWh) / charging hour (3.5kW) = 8.8 hrs

How fast can i charge my car?
Most EVs support up to 11 kW, while some support 22 kW and some only up to 7 kW. We recommend checking your car's OBC (on-board charger) performance first. The maximum power is dictated by your car's OBC. For instance, if your car's OBC is 7 kW, you can only charge up to 7 kW even when using the 11 kW or 22 kW cable. Most PHEVs support up to 7 kW since they have smaller batteries. The cost of a 22 kW charger is only slightly more than others, so it is recommended to buy this.
