This procedure applies to the current shipping version of the dé AC Wallbox with Socket in 7 kW, 11 kW and 22 kW versions. Mount the supplied wall bracket, hang the charging station securely, connect its power input, and adjust the settings before connecting the vehicle.
Important: A Type 2 charging cable is not included. You need a separate Type 2 cable to connect the Wallbox socket to your vehicle.
Check the power input version
The first connection step depends on the power input supplied with your Wallbox.
| Power input | Connection step |
|---|---|
| CEE connector | Plug in the CEE connector. |
| Bare inlet cable | Connect the charging station’s inlet cable to the meter box. |
Complete the wall-mounting steps below before preparing the Wallbox for charging.
Mount the Wallbox
1. Prepare the wall bracket
Position the wall mount bracket and tighten its screws as shown. Use the mounting points on the bracket to identify where the holes must be drilled.
2. Drill the mounting holes and secure the bracket
Drill the holes according to the wall mount bracket. Insert and tighten the screws to fix the bracket to the wall.
3. Check the wall bracket
Check that the bracket is securely fastened and does not wobble. Do not hang the charging station if the bracket moves.
4. Hang the charging station
Align the holes on the rear of the charging station with the screws on the wall bracket. Carefully lower the charging station onto the bracket.
Check that the Wallbox is seated correctly and remains securely supported by the bracket.
5. Add the optional securing screws
If you choose to use the additional securing points, drill the required holes and tighten the screws to secure the charging station.
Connect the power input
Complete the connection that matches your product version:
- CEE connector version: Plug in the CEE connector.
- Bare inlet cable version: Connect the charging station’s inlet cable to the meter box.
Prepare the Wallbox for charging
- Adjust the charging current and delay-time settings.
- Connect one end of your separate Type 2 charging cable to the Wallbox socket.
- Connect the other end of the Type 2 cable to the vehicle’s charging port.
Important: The current and delay-time settings cannot be changed after the Type 2 connector has been plugged into the vehicle’s charging port. Complete the settings before connecting the vehicle.
For help identifying the controls, see Charger Screen and Button Functions Explained.
