Choose the input plug only after confirming your home’s power supply and the available outlet. For the confirmed dé European portable charger versions, single-phase examples include Schuko and blue CEE inputs, while the confirmed 11 kW three-phase example uses a red CEE input. The plug shape, voltage, current and number of phases must all match.

Match all four input details
Do not select a charger from its power rating or plug colour alone. Check these four details:
- Plug type: Schuko, blue CEE or red CEE.
- Voltage: compare the outlet supply with the voltage stated in the charger manual.
- Current: check whether the CEE connection is rated for 16 A or 32 A.
- Number of phases: confirm whether both the power supply and charger version are single-phase or three-phase.
Choose the plug step by step
1. Confirm the number of phases
Check your electricity bill, supply contract, meter information or electrical documents. If the information is unclear, contact your electricity supplier or a qualified electrical professional.
2. Identify the available outlet
Look at the outlet without removing its cover. Identify whether it is Schuko, blue CEE or red CEE.

3. Read the visible electrical markings
Look for the voltage and current marked on the outside of the outlet or in its electrical documentation. For a CEE outlet, check whether it is marked 16 A or 32 A.
4. Check the exact charger version
Compare the outlet information with the charger’s product page, product label and user manual. The plug type, voltage, current and number of phases must refer to the exact version you plan to use.

5. Stop if any detail does not match
Do not connect or order the charger if:
- The plug and outlet have different shapes.
- The voltage or number of phases does not match.
- You cannot confirm whether the CEE connection is 16 A or 32 A.
- The product page and manual appear to describe different versions.
- You cannot tell whether the product has a CEE input, another input plug or a hardwired connection.
Warning: Do not open the outlet or distribution board, touch the wiring or replace the charger’s input plug yourself.
