How to Start Charging in Plug-and-Play Mode

No app, no RFID card, no complicated setup. Just plug in, set the current, and connect your vehicle.

Step 1: Connect the Power

Plug the charger into the mains.

Firmly insert the red CEE plug into a compatible red CEE socket. The device will power on, and the screen and white status light will illuminate.

If your package includes a Schuko adapter, you can use it to connect to a standard household socket. Remember, charging via a Schuko socket will be slower than using a 3-phase CEE connection. To get the full 11 kW of power, you'll need a compatible 400 V three-phase power supply.

Step 2: Set the Charging Current

Select your current before connecting to the car.

Briefly press the button on the Wallbox to choose your desired charging current:
6 A / 8 A / 10 A / 13 A / 16 A

If you don't need to delay charging, make sure the delay time is set to 0 h. To set a delayed start, press and hold the button to set a delay between 0.5 and 8 hours.

Remember: Set it, then plug it in.

Step 3: Connect the Vehicle

Plug in the Type 2 connector.

Open your vehicle's charging port and fully insert the Type 2 connector until it clicks securely into place.

Step 4: Charging Automatically Starts

Charging begins automatically.

If the delay timer is set to 0 and the RFID function is off, charging will start automatically as soon as you connect the vehicle.

While charging:

  • The LED status light turns green.
  • The screen shows real-time power, current, voltage, charging time, and total energy delivered.

Green light means you're charging.

Important Tips Before You Start

  1. Set the current and timer first.In Plug & Play mode, you cannot change the current or delay settings once you've connected the Type 2 connector to your vehicle. To change settings, stop charging and unplug from the car first.
  2. No RFID card is needed by default.The RFID function is turned off. If you have previously enabled RFID authorization, you will need to tap your registered RFID card on the Wallbox after connecting the car to start charging.
  3. Use a compatible power source.For the fastest 11 kW charging, you need a compatible 400 V three-phase CEE power supply, and your vehicle must support it. When using a Schuko socket, choose a lower current based on your socket and circuit's capacity.
