If your charger shows an error code, stop the charging session and record the complete code before taking any action. Error codes are product-specific, so first identify whether you have a Portable AC Charger, AC Wallbox, Dual Wallbox or DC Wallbox.
Do not use an error-code table from another charger model, even if the code looks the same.
What to do first
-
Record the complete error code.
Write down the number or take a clear photo before the screen changes.
-
Identify the charger.
Check the product name, model and rated power on the product label.
-
Note when the error occurred.
Record whether it appeared before charging, while charging or after charging ended.
-
Stop if there is a safety risk.
Do not continue if the charger, cable or connector is damaged, unusually hot, wet inside, producing smoke or an unusual smell, or repeatedly showing a safety-related error.
-
Use the correct error table below.
Do not repeatedly restart the charger and do not open its enclosure.
When should I stop using the charger?
Stop charging and contact support or a qualified professional if the error relates to:
- leakage current or a ground fault;
- overvoltage or undervoltage;
- a relay, contactor or electronic lock fault;
- a fuse, power module or internal communication fault;
- repeated overtemperature;
- a damaged charging cable, connector or enclosure;
- smoke, burning smells, abnormal noise or visible damage; or
- an error that returns after one safe reconnection attempt.
Do not: remove the cover, replace internal parts, test live wiring, bypass grounding protection or repeatedly cycle the power to clear an error.
Portable AC Charger error codes
Use this section for the 11 kW Portable EV Charger with the inline control box and two buttons.

The screen displays a warning symbol together with a number from 0 to 7. The number identifies the detected condition.
AC Wallbox error codes
Use this section for the compatible 11 kW Mobile Wallbox with Socket and 11 kW Wallbox with Cable described in their respective manuals.

Follow the safe user actions in the table above, but confirm the code in the manual supplied with your exact Wallbox. Stop and contact support if the screen layout or code description does not match.
Dual Wallbox error codes
The Dual Wallbox has a separate error-code system. Do not interpret its codes using the Portable Charger or AC Wallbox table.

For ordinary users: record the complete status code, stop the charging session and contact the charger operator or dé customer support. Do not replace a fuse, relay, contactor, sensor, fan, surge-protection device or power module yourself.
Settings-related codes must be checked through the authorised configuration process. Internal component and communication faults must be handled by qualified service personnel.
DC Wallbox fault messages
The 20/30/40 kW DC Wallbox uses a separate list of status codes from 1 to 33. Many of these codes relate to internal components, configuration values or communication wiring.
Examples include:

What can I safely check?
After charging has stopped and the equipment has been safely disconnected where applicable, an ordinary user may check only the following:
- whether the charging connector is fully inserted;
- whether the cable, connector or enclosure has visible damage;
- whether the charger is covered or unable to release heat;
- whether the optional emergency-stop control has been activated;
- whether the same error returns after one safe reconnection; and
- whether the product model matches the error table being used.
Do not remove the cover, touch internal wiring, perform live electrical measurements or replace internal parts.
Information to send to customer support
To help the support team identify the problem, email support@depow.com and include:
- the complete error or status code;
- a clear photo of the charger screen;
- a clear photo of the product label;
- the product name, model and rated power;
- whether the error appeared before, during or after charging;
- the vehicle make and model;
- the country where the charger was purchased or installed;
- the order number, if available; and
- a short description of what happened immediately before the error appeared.
Do not clear the error repeatedly before recording it. The code and screen photo can help the support team determine the correct next step.
