Assemble the dé DC Wallbox trolley in four stages: attach the handle to the baseplate, install the triangular and side plates, and then fit the wheels. This article covers mechanical trolley assembly only. It does not cover the charger’s electrical installation.
Check the supplied hardware
Before starting, unpack the trolley components and confirm that the following fasteners are present:
| Reference | Part | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| A | Long screw | 2 |
| B | Medium screw | 2 |
| C | Short screw | 6 |
| D | Ferrule | 2 |
| E | Large nut | 6 |
| F | Medium nut | 2 |
| G | Small nut | 2 |
| H | Cotter pin | 2 |
| I | Washer | 4 |
| J | Large spring washer | 6 |
| K | Medium spring washer | 2 |
| L | Small spring washer | 6 |
Keep the lettered parts separate while working. The letters used below match the hardware list.
Assemble the trolley
1. Attach the handle to the baseplate
Position the handle on the baseplate. Insert long screw A with small spring washer L and small nut G. Tighten the nut to secure the handle.
Repeat the connection where required. Check that the handle is held firmly against the baseplate before continuing.
2. Fit the triangular plate
Position the triangular plate as shown. Secure it with short screw C, large spring washer J and large nut E.
Important: Do not fully tighten nut E during this step. It must remain loose enough to align the side plates in Step 3.
3. Attach both side plates
Position both side plates against the trolley frame.
- Use short screw C, large spring washer J and large nut E at the corresponding mounting points.
- Use medium screw B, medium spring washer K and medium nut F at the corresponding mounting points.
After both side plates are correctly aligned, fully tighten the nut E left loose in Step 2. Check that the triangular plate and both side plates are firmly secured.
4. Install the wheels
Install each wheel in the following order:
- Place ferrule D and washer I onto the shaft.
- Slide the wheel onto the shaft.
- Fit the remaining washer I.
- Insert cotter pin H to secure the wheel.
Repeat the process for the second wheel. Check that both cotter pins are installed and that neither wheel can slide off its shaft.
Check the assembled trolley
Before installing the DC Wallbox, confirm that:
- The handle is firmly attached to the baseplate.
- The triangular plate and both side plates are fully secured.
- All nuts, including nut E from Step 2, have been tightened.
- Both wheels are fitted and retained by their cotter pins.
- No supplied fastener required by the four assembly steps is loose.
For the product-specific instructions used to attach and install the charger, see the DC Wallbox Installation Instructions. Follow that guide separately; do not use this trolley assembly article as an electrical installation guide.
