How to Set the Charging Current in the App

To select the charging current in the app, open your added charger, find the Current section and move the slider until the required value is displayed. Set the current before plugging the Type 2 connector into the vehicle.

Important: The user manuals state that settings cannot be changed after the Type 2 connector has been plugged into the vehicle's charging port.

Open the charger in the app

1. Open Tuya Smart or Smart Life.
2. Select the charger that you have already added.
3. Wait for the charger control page to open.

If the charger does not appear on the app home page, it must first be added to your app account.

Select the charging current

1. Find the section marked Current on the charger control page.
2. Press and move the round slider control.
3. Watch the value displayed beside the slider.
4. Stop when the required value is shown.

The letter A means amperes, the unit used for charging current.

Note: The value in the Current setting section is the selected charging-current value. The separate Current (A) reading on the status panel shows the current reading displayed by the app.

If you cannot change the value

• Check that you opened the correct charger in the app.
• Check whether the Type 2 connector has already been plugged into the vehicle.
• Check that the Current slider is visible on the charger control page.
